How to do an experiment in an Electrical Lab

You must be aware of 5 conditions for doing an electrical experiment

They are:

1)  Precautions to be satisfied before doing the experiment.

E.g. connections to be tight, position of autotransformer, load i.e. min or max etc.

2)  Initial condition of the set up for switch on supply.

This is almost similar to the precautions i.e. when precautions are satisfied; almost all initial conditions are satisfied.

3)
Condition at which we  are doing the experiment.

I.e. the experiment will be done keeping some parameters at constant positions like for certain expt.s we will keep the voltage value at its rated one.

4) Condition to which we can do the experiment.

This the ultimate condition below which we can safely conduct the expt. without heating or blowing off. E.g. for most of the expt.s the condition will be its rated current value above which the circuit and instruments will be damaged.

5)  Condition of the set up for switch off supply.

Before switching off the supply, we need to take the circuit to its initial condition; this is its final condition.
